Australian Finger Lime (Citrus australasica)
From “Down Under” comes a truly unique variety of lime with a dense bushy habit, small dark green leaves and an abundance of tiny white flowers. Plants need to reach a foot or more in height and fill out a 6” pot before they bear fruit heavily. The seedless fruit is filled with tiny lime beads or juice vesicles which easily separate and can be used as a garnish on salads or to accent your favorite dish. With a strong and resilient root system and densely foliated stem, this citrus makes an excellent candidate for bonsai culture. This is a grafted plant that will bloom and fruit sooner.
