African Angel Trumpet (Euclinia longiflora)

Also called African Tree Gardenia, this rare shrub has stunning, 10” white, tubular flowers from late fall through early winter. The lightly fragrant, creamy-white flowers turn pale yellow as they age. Related to coffee and gardenia, the plant has an upright and branching habit with shiny green, new foliage that appears from mid-winter though summer. It has a resting period in the fall and early winter followed by its seasonal blooming cycle that goes on for several weeks.
